Walking in Ambleside

Our stay: Cumbria University is located 0.5 miles out of Ambleside, on the main road to Rydal, walking distance to the shops, bars + restaurants. The nearest train station is Windermere.
Single occupancy "hall" rooms are en-suite, with bedding, towels, but no toiletries. There is a fully equipped, shared dining/ seating/ kitchen/ cooking area for each flat.
We have provisionally booked 3 flats (11 single rooms in each flat) so 33 places are reserved in total.

Rooms are £55 per night inclusive of crockery pack. The total is £165 for the three night stay. A deposit of £55 is required by the 12th May and the balance of £110 to be paid by the 3rd August 2025.
Optional led walks will take place on Saturday and Sunday, plus we will try to organise a group meal for the Sunday evening. As always, you are free to do as you please, it is your weekend away. You can even book direct should your plans differ, however please note the demand for this university accommodation is quite high.
