A walk of 11 miles and 1300 feet taking in Loveclough, Rossendale Way, Meadow Head, White Hill, Thieveley Pike, Heald Moor, Chatham Hill Plantation, Riddle Scout, Green Clogh Wood, Junction(SD882298), Over town, Walk Mill, Riverside Car park.

A walk of 9 miles and 1200 feet taking in Burnley Way (Clowbridge View point SD838295), Clowbridge Reservoir, Stony Hill, Compstons Cross SD838277, Crowe Point, Singing Ringing tree, Dyneley Farm, Cliviger Mill Bridge, and Towneley Park.

A walk of 7 miles and 300 feet taking in Burnley Wood, Leeds Liverpool Canal (Eastwards), loop back to the River Brun, Rowley Farm, Pike Hill, Deer Park Road and return to Towneley Hall.
