Walking in Ambleside
Friday 6th til Monday 9th September 2024

Staying at Cumbria University. Located 0.5 miles out of Ambleside, on the main road to Rydal, walking distance to the shops, bars and restaurants.
The nearest train station is Windermere.
Single occupancy "hall" rooms are ensuite, with bedding, towels, but no toiletries. There is a fully equipped, shared dining/seating/kitchen/cooking for each flat.
We provisionally have 3 flats of 11 single rooms, so 33 places in total.

Rooms are £50 per night inclusive of crockery pack. The total is £150 for the three night stay. A £50 deposit will be required by the 17th March (Holywell coach),(before their Easter break). The balance to be paid by 4th August (Hawes coach).
Optional led walks will take place on Saturday and Sunday, plus we will try to organise a group meal for the Sunday evening. As always, you are free to do as you please, it is your weekend away. You can even book direct should your plans differ, however the demand for this uni accommodation is quite high.
